 | Exciting
things are happening this summer at the Church of Christ in Olney! This Saturday at 7pm doors will be open for our monthly
Teen Movie Night! This months feature is a classic Disney adventure fil, "The Sword in the Stone". The classic animated
adventure of young Arthur trying to come to grips with being the king of Camelot. In addition to that we have two activities
next month. For those of you who remember last year we participated in a lock in with area churches that took us to Adventure
Park U.S.A. in Frederick, MD. This year will be the same activity with part of the night at the park, and part at the Manor
Woods Church of Christ. The dates for that are June 18th-19th and the cost will be around 30 dollars. Also, local church
family the Wildsmith's are opening up their home for a cookout next month on the 26th. Time for the event will be determined
this week. So just to recap hope to see you guys Saturday night at 7 for the movie night!

big thanks for the great turnout for last nights movie night! It was a good night to be there since we wrapped up the classic
"Star Wars" trilogy. Starting next month we're going to be seeing more teen activities as we get into
the summer months. Also, to change things up I am opening up suggestions for movie night, and that's how we're going
to choose the movie for the month of May! So make sure to send your suggestions to Youth@churchofchristatolney.org In
addition to local activities we're planning some off site trips for next month and June as well, so be sure to check in
on Sunday mornings to get the full details! -Tim

 | Hey
guys thanks for the turnout for last nights movie night! I really hope you guys enjoyed the second of the three "Star
Wars" films that we're going through over these movie nights. "The Empire Strikes Back" has alot of spiritual
lessons worth learning, including that there exists both good and evil in the world. Remember what Yoda says about the dark
side, it isn't more powerful, just more seductive. On April 17th we'll be concluding the classic "Star
Wars" trilogy with the third installment, where we learn important details about rescuing Han Solo, and Luke's final
confrontation with Darth Vader, who he just learned is his father. As always I hope to see you guys in classes which
happen weekly here at the church building Sundays at 11:30 following church services! -Tim

 | Just
a quick reminder for you guys for next weekend. We will be having our monthly teen movie night at 7pm on Saturday March 20th!
The movie, "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back". It's runtime is just over 2 hours so plan rides accordingly.
Also remember that 7pm is the DOOR OPEN TIME and not the start of the movie. We start the movie at around 7:20 giving us time
to socialize, get popcorn and drinks and settle in. If you show up before 7 we may not be fully set up. So, hope to see you
guys Saturday at 7 for the movie, and remember as always classes are Sunday at 11:30 following the 10 a.m. service. Have a
great week! -Tim

 | Hey
guys what a great start to the new year! We've had some terrific events already and there are more being planned for this
spring. We had a great time participating in the chairty event "30 Hour Famine" last weekend. Between fundraising
and service prjects we were able to help those here in our community as well as worldwide. Don't forget this weekend
on the 27th is the next teen movie night! We'll be watching the very first "Star Wars" movie which is still
an amazing movie to date. So I hope to have a great turnout with members and visitors. Remember, if you're not a teen
and still want to attend we can always use more adults to help out with the event! So have a great day today and hope to see
you Satruday! -Tim

 | Happy
New Year everyone! I hope the Christmas season was kind to you. It's been an eventful last couple of weeks with the snow
and classes on Sunday. A big thanks to those who helped out with our Christmas stocking project this year, and as always thanks
to those who have attended class. This week we discussed the concept of devotion, and how commitment and energy used for other
things can be dedicated to God. Just to let you know we have a movie night coming up on Jan 16th at 7pm, and we've
got some exciting stuff planned for the youth over the next couple of months. This Sunday is also the day I get to show off
my speaking skills So I hope to see you at 10am sharp! Have a great week everyone! |

 | I
hope everyone enjoyed the party last night! I know I did. Amazing turn out with over 50 people competing in the gift swap
this year! It did my heart good to see how cuthroat everyone got over the hot items. Big thanks to the youth group for helping
me get rid of my item and getting my hands on that sweet barbeque set, I can assure you it went to a good home.
It was a slow rainy day for class but I'm still very grateful for the turnout this morning. Thanks to our visitors for
checking out the class, and always a big thanks to my students eager to read the lesson today. Remeber what Malachi said about
giving your all for God so that his house can grow, and your life can be blessed!

 | A
big thanks to everyone in class on Sunday. For those who didn't know I was out of town performing a wedding in sunny Florida!
While it was a good time had by all I was in a bit of a car accident which led to a crazy series of events for the evening.
It did my heart so much good to see my students on Sunday morning though ready to learn! Lots of exciting stuff coming up
this month to look forward to! The church family Chrsitmas party is on the 12th, and our first teen christmas party/movie
night is set for the next week. We're going to be doing things a little different this time because instead of a single
movie we're going to be watching 4 Chrsitmas specials! Exciting stuff for those who love specials such as "A Charlie
Brown Christmas" a classic favorite of mine. More details to follow in class on Sunday in regards to the dasy and time,
everyone have a safe week and I'll see you guys on Sunday.
